Dr. Mirela Tulbure Promoted to Full Professor

Dr. Mirela Tulbure was promoted to a Full Professor at the Center for Geospatial Analytics at North Carolina State University (NCSU) this week.
Before joining NCSU she was a Senior Lecturer at the University of New South Wales (Sydney, Australia) where she built the Geospatial Analysis for Environmental Change (GAEC) Lab. In 2019 she moved to NCSU and continued her geospatial research, studying flooding, surface water dynamics and their drivers of change. As a professor at NCSU she has developed two courses, a graduate level course entitled Environmental Earth Observation and Remote Sensing and an undergraduate course entitled Geospatial Analytics for Environmental Change.
